Here are a few more answers from my recent OIA to the Electoral Commission re: the integrity of the 2020 NZ Election. To sum up: - Three people have administrative access to the Election Management System. Who are they? No idea. Can they change votes? Not sure but I will likely know soon (more to come on this). - There was a system update less than a month before the election. This could be innocent or it could not be, no way to really tell right now - especially as the system itself is not open source. No way to tell at the moment if there are any backdoors - although as it's connected to the internet, there is no way to rule that out either. - It seems that SolarWinds Orion was not used at electorate HQ, so we can probably rule that out, which would have allowed a direct and confirmed backdoor into the Election Management System.
