Interesting how throughout time and culture we've had phrases that basically tell us – without getting overly philosophical or meticulously detailed – how to behave if we want to have a peaceful and free existence... yet we continue to ignore or even scoff at those phrases and wonder why life is shit. And all of those phrases are simple maxims that reflect what we have also called Karma and Natural Law. And if those terms don't work for you, the most easily recognizable term is Conscience... and we get that wrong, too. We talk as if it's a little lucky charm in our pocket. It's not a thing, it's knowledge. The word comes from Latin: Con and Sciere. Con means "with; together" and sciere is where we get the word science. It means "knowledge." Knowledge together. Knowing together. And while we claim to have that as if it's a pet rock, we really don't have it. We have personal whims, preferences, beliefs, likes and dislikes. We think morality is subjective. "Well, that's YOUR morals, not mine." The language of the universe is mathematical, even in ways we wouldn't consider. Imagine if there was some great equation holding everything together (and there is). If one person thinks 2+2=4 and someone else thinks it equals 5, and they input both answers into that great equation, what do you think will happen? One tiny little mistake in the math and it all starts to unravel. The more we do that, eventually we end up with chaos. And that's what we're doing by being moral relativists. The math of morality is wrong because there's no conscience, no knowing together the objective formula of right and wrong. The universe is perfect. The Laws are perfect, whether physical or metaphysical. They are discoverable and knowable, operating flawlessly regardless of what we do. But if we don't recognize them and align with them, we suffer. If we ignore gravity and jump off a building, we'll fall to our death. If we ignore the Laws that govern behavior, we'll create chaos in our lives. And that's what we're doing. Not only that, we've traded those Laws for the whims of other people, calling them "authority," believing their "laws" are valid. And here we are, in a state of slavery that continues to get worse. It's time to give that authority back to Creation, and abide by its perfect Laws. Man does not share in that authorship. Man doesn't get to make up right and wrong. Our job is to discover the cosmic / spiritual Truth and align with it. That's how we become a conscious species with conscience. That's how we create the kind of world we say we want. It's not difficult to do. The hard part is getting our egos out of the way so we stop believing in nonsense and start doing the right thing. If we don't do that, expect everything to continue getting worse until we perish. Natural Law or bust. LEX REX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nJOJzJLKHw
