It went fine. I was challenged by the county staff for not wearing a mask but they were all women so they were easily defeated. The issue is that Washington passed a bill in early 2020 that allows the counties to raise sales tax WITHOUT a vote of the people. This is our county trying to subsidize housing for the lazy, trying to 'expediently' raise our taxes. This is my short 5 min statement to the board of commissioners (all women). I expect them to NOT put it to a vote of the people and just ignore the public opinion, as government is apt to do and constantly does. Maybe a mostly peaceful protest afterward is due. Isaiah 3:12 “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” If our guys don't win (they probably won't) this next election cycle, I think I'll run on a male #ChristSupremacy platform for county commissioner and see if that resonates with the people. Basically all the 'conservative' people are supposedly saved Christians, and never mention Christ. #ChristIsKing
