Your support is making a global impact… With the uncertainty surrounding us all right now, you can be sure that your contribution to the WJC makes a difference – not just for world Jewry, but as a part of the greater global struggle against hatred, xenophobia, and discrimination of minorities. With your help, we can continue to be a leading Jewish voice on the global stage. As a member of the UN’s Multi-Faith Advisory Council to the Interagency Task Force on Religion and Sustainable Development, the WJC recently endorsed a statement about the deep challenges that the COVID-19 outbreak poses to some of the world’s most at-risk populations, “including the elderly, refugees and migrants, people living in conflict contexts, people with disabilities, young people, religious minorities, women and children at risk of domestic violence, groups that face discrimination and stigmatization, and all other vulnerable groups. …the IATF is committed to working closely with all relevant stakeholders to stand up against stigma, hate speech and hate crimes, xenophobia, racism and all other forms of discrimination.” As Jews, we are among the religious minorities uniquely threatened by COVID-19. Together, we are doing everything in our power to assist and defend our communities across the world. But, as Jews, we cannot and will not ignore the dangers to our brothers and sisters facing similar challenges. It is incumbent upon us to use our unrivaled experience and unparalleled diplomatic voice to ensure the safety and freedom of all during this crisis. Your support is the key to our work, today and every day. Please make a gift to the World Jewish Congress, American Section, to further strengthen the WJC’s global work to protect and defend vulnerable Jewish communities and speak out for the religious rights and freedom of people everywhere.
