i don't know about this, but dirty stuff connected to fbi is common, for sure. nypd has has kind of a lot of corruption but i still think local cops might be on our side but fbi is very unlikely to be anythng good. the book serpico was great. the movie was good, too. of course you know how the book and the movie differ pretty much every time, but if you have never seen it you might look and see if whatever you watch on has it. it's a stunning story and it might reach your interest in something more than a shootemup cops and robbers story
