This will probably be my last front page post on Gab, ever. I was leaning strongly in the direction of having that day come up, soon, anyway, and 'Drew Torba's decision to hold our content hostage eliminated any lingering doubt I had about that. Two more links to places where I'll be instead of here ... . . My profile on Minds https://www.minds.com/electrical_engineering/ . . My profile on Gorf https://gorf.com/@electronics . . These will mainly be for update notification. I'll be posting links to content on other sites there, in order to save you a little time. Instead of following me on multiple sites, you can just follow me on Minds or Gorf, if you wish. This post will eventually become invisible to both of us, if you have a free account, too, because Torba will never tire of trying to drive us off, but if you forget these urls, no worries. Probably. Just go to my blog or Youtube channel, and I'll insert links to them, there. I already have, over on Youtube. I'm a little annoyed, because something that I put together as a minor labor of love has been effectively destroyed. just so that Torba could go on promoting bigotry through his use of the bully pulpit on his site, and build a community that really is about Hate, not about free speech. If Gab honestly cared about free speech, its employees would have said something as people were driven off of this site with death threats, but they never did. I'm a lot annoyed, because some of the labors of love on Gab weren't so minor, and A.T. did the same thing to them, for the same dumb reason, that and no other. Certainly not for the freedom to ask questions about governmental overreach. One can do that on Twitter, now, and one might note that Twitter still has ads. Others can also see all of one's content, whether they have free accounts or not. But in spite of this, I'm not completely upset about this, because I just watched the worst phenomenon of the post-2016 Internet (the neo-Nazi movement) self-destruct. That made up for a lot. I won't pretend that it didn't. . . . As I said earlier, I'm not the sensitivity police. If you want to follow me at the new locations, that's cool. I get the feeling that some of my followers really, sincerely bought what the Nazis were selling. If you were one of those followers, you'll still be welcome at the new site, as long as you're willing to really turn over a new leaf. What we just saw was a fairly polished propaganda effort backed up with a lot of peer pressure. I can understand if some of you were taken in, but you have to be willing to really, seriously change. The Nazi crap ends here. If somebody brings it to the new sites, I'll block that person on sight. I'd like to have everybody feel welcome there, but I'm not going to pull a Drew, and allow a hostile environment develop that drives off those who've done little to nothing to deserve that, because there's a difference between being tolerant and being gutless.
