Did a bit of spot shopping yesterday. Ran across 3 marked down bags of huge tomatoes for $1 each and got 9 trays of tomatoes dehydrated last night. Had to pick up a prescription from Kroger again today and got 6 marked down bags of mixed tomatoes that yielded 12 trays for the dehydrator and a few leftover for cooking. Will be making more tomato powder as it takes up a whole lot less space than canned tomatoes. The GF is in the process of making a double batch of the flavor cubes from the video below as she used to use similar homemade seasoning products when she lived in Russia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n2lAoHiOjo I have all of the supplies either on hand or to be delivered tomorrow to start my first batch of homemade cognac using the recipes I posted previously just to see how it comes out, and also while I can still order the necessary elements to do so. Will be experimenting with the blend somewhat in the flavoring dept., probably gonna add some honey and some coffee grounds. May order some cocoa nut husks as an additional ingredient down the road, perhaps. Using the guidelines in this video for the additional flavoring options. The different flavoring ingredients are close to end of the video. This video also gives you the correct measurements for the primary ingredients in the description section. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s4ijV6l9xc
