The World's First AI-Driven Genocide Israel has created a digitally powered "mass killing factory" to enable the world's first AI-driven genocide. The AI systems and databases used by the IDF include, among others, The Gospel/Habsora, which generates targets against buildings and infrastructure, and Lavender, which collects data on human targets. An automated specialized tool called "Where’s Daddy" alerts the IDF when a suspected militant Palestinian arrives at their home. The residence or building is then attacked and blown up, regardless of civilian casualties. These AI tools have generated thousands of targets with minimal human involvement, enabling the mass killing of tens of thousands of Palestinians, most of whom are unarmed civilians. Vast amounts of data on individuals have been collected in advance. Israel's definition of "terrorist" is extremely broad: for instance, Israel accuses 1,200 UNRWA employees of being involved in the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. The people of Gaza are victims of a large-scale experiment in a new type of warfare. These tests are closely studied and applauded by the global arms industry and high-tech companies. This dehumanization of warfare introduces a new paradigm and opens the door to chilling consequences for future conflicts. Israel is heavily reliant on data services from the world's largest high-tech companies. The American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker organization known for its peace work and recipient of the 1947 Nobel Peace Prize, maps these companies on a dedicated website. The website lists five American companies that provide essential hardware, cloud storage, AI tools, and other technology to the IDF, thereby linking them to this automated genocide. It details each company's contributions to the Israeli military. These companies are Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, and Palantir. By the end of 2024, Norway's Oil Fund held a staggering 1,192 billion NOK in shares in these companies, up from 757 billion the previous year. The American Friends Service Committee writes: "The Israeli military has publicly admitted to using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its capabilities during the war against Gaza, alongside cloud services from Google and Microsoft. Among these three, the relationship with Amazon is reportedly the closest. Israeli military intelligence uses AWS servers to store vast amounts of intelligence data on nearly everyone in Gaza. Since 2021, Amazon has provided cloud services to the Israeli state under Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion contract shared with Google. This includes cloud services for the entire Israeli government, including the military, security service (Shabak/‘Shin Bet’), police, prison system, weapons manufacturers Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael, and state agencies involved in the illegal settlement policy on the West Bank." In February 2025, Google's parent company, Alphabet, lifted its ban on using AI tools for military purposes, including weapons development and surveillance. The IDF's use of Microsoft's AI tools has multiplied during the war. NY TID published a lengthy article by Juval Abraham in its spring 2025 issue, titled "Deep Ties Revealed Between the Israeli Army and Microsoft." Storebrand sold its shares in Palantir "due to the company's deliveries to Israeli military and security forces in occupied Palestinian territories." This occurred in the same year that Norway's Oil Fund increased its investments in the company fifteenfold, from 1.3 billion to 19.6 billion NOK. Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) all use affordable and clean Norwegian power for their cloud storage services in Norway. Google is building one of the world's largest data centers in Skien for 600 million NOK. AWS is a customer at Bulk's data center between Kristiansand and Vennesla, as well as other locations in Norway. Microsoft has established its own data centers in Norway, including in Oslo and Stavanger, for its Azure cloud service.
