The AfD is hailing a historic election victory; exit polls put the party at 44.5% of the vote in Saxony-Anhalt (East Germany). They know what communism looks like and said "nein" to Merz. The results: AfD 44.5%, CDU 18.5% (the CDU is led by Friedrich Merz, the current German Chancellor). Merz is highly unpopular; Germans have had enough. The AfD wants a Germany for the Germans. They wish to protect their people, their culture, their traditions, and their values. They advocate an anti-immigration policy. They do not want war with Russia. Indeed, that is what the majority of the population wants. So, what is there to object to?
