PART 3: Let’s go back a second to fully understand what has been going on in Arizona. In 2016 my husband helped to get Donald Trump elected here in Arizona. Donald Trump Jr, and his team flew down to meet with my husband and a few other grassroots group political leaders in Arizona. My husband laid out the strategy of what would need to happen for Trump to win in Arizona. My husband believed in Donald Trump at that time. He donated $25,000 to his campaign and he fought hard on the ground here in Arizona to help get him elected. My husband has been working in Arizona politics for 20 years. Mostly behind the scenes donating, collecting signatures, outlining legislation, supporting candidates, and working with those in elected office to help pass good legislation. One of the bills he worked on was HB 2111 a bill which nullifies any federal red flag laws — protecting your Second Amendment right here in Arizona. Daniel McCarthy also wrote a law to help businesses so the government could not force a business to do mask mandates. He’s been involved for a long time, but always doing politics on the side. He has been a successful businessman in Arizona. He never ran for office until 2020. What’s very interesting is Daniel received a phone call from Rona McDaniel June 24, 2019. (ICYMI: Rona McDaniel is Mitt Romney’s niece). She threatened Daniel during that 20 minute conversation. She did not want him to run (but he was already in the media saying he was going to run for Senate). Daniel refused to be intimidated, despite the fact Rona told Daniel that Martha McSally WOULD BE the GOP nominee (no questions asked) and that Trump WOULD endorse Martha (no questions asked) and she told Daniel to “stand down” and that the machine would absolutely crush him. The next day 6/25/19 Politico wrote an article about that call — which Rona McDaniel herself leaked to the media. (I will post a link to that article below) The GOP establishment went to war against Daniel. Mitch McConnell & NRSC ran a massive hit against Daniel. Trump endorsed Martha McSally that week. Think about that. A terrible RINO candidate who NO ONE likes in AZ gets Trump’s endorsement while she is running UNOPPOSED. Why would Trump endorse a RINO candidate before anyone else even got in the race? See PART 4 (next post)
