As kids, we used to play a war game where we'd have strings running along the ground to "ammo" dumps we hid in the woods, to help guide us to our stores. Part of the game was discovering the "enemy's" string and following it to their hideout, then play-ambushing them. That game applies here. The migrant invaders have strings attached to them. Pick up the strings, and follow them to the command centers.
