US 250th post - US-Polish History [3/3] <3 GOG Polish and American culture are siblings. In history, in character. Agrarian, popular (if imperfect) government, equestrian. Careful to guard their flanks, as history has shown prudent. And both love EDM, as civilized nations are wont to. (We're not so sure about Disco) Most important of all, to Gamers, in the US, and worldwide, is that Poland is the homeland and birthplace of Good Old Games – GOG – a name every real Gamer knows, and many truly love! GOG's efforts have done more to advance meaningful digital ownership, ready-start gameplay, and Games Preservation than possibly any other company, or even museum or collectors have, worldwide! Because of GOG, many games that might have been lost to history are most certainly saved, and enjoyable for generations to come!
