It has never been about science. The COVID reporting data has been dirty from the start. 1) Hospitals were given guidance to report all deaths as COVID deaths, even when COVID was not the primary cause (e.g., terminal cancer, COVID-positive test at end) 2) Hospitals were then paid higher reimbursement rates for COVID treatments, encouraging them to increase reporting. Most hospitals run at an operating loss, so any opportunity to increase billings *will* be taken. 3) Once the vaccines were introduced, data reporting was designed to lump any negative effects of the vaccines into the "unvaccinated" category (e.g., "unvaccinated" until 2 weeks post-dose). An example of proper reporting would be: unvaccinated, single-dosed (<2 weeks), single-dosed (>2 weeks), 2-dosed, 3-dosed, etc. Throughout the pandemic, deaths have always been a low percentage of the population, even within this data set. Therefore, it is likely that the factors above introduced statistically significant distortions on the data. There is no way to clean the data, it was dirty from the start. Public health officials, scientists, doctors... they know how to design proper data collection. This was never about proper data collection, and science was never the priority.
