Late last month, #DHS announced that a two-week #ICE enforcement operation across #Virginia and #Maryland resulted in the ARREST of 1,328 #illegal aliens – and that officers made those arrests DESPITE the sanctuary policies of counties throughout both states. Because sanctuary jails REFUSE to transfer criminal aliens into federal custody, **ICE had to mount a dedicated operation** and find them in neighborhoods and on the streets instead.
