"And Did Those Feet...?" A #documentary covering #Jesus' #LostYears, the #Essenes, and Glastonbury (#UK). It would be easy to just right this off as yet another unprovable theory pertaining to the lost years, but this documentary employs evidence from the world of #architecture to make his case, so it lends a bit more weight to his speculations. Jesus was supposedly a #carpenter, after all, and maybe that fact is more significant than we generally are led to believe. It also talks about #Gematria, #astronomy, and #sacredgeometry. This documentary is basically a #mathematical version of #philology. It starts out slow, but it picks up. It ends up being truly fascinating stuff once it gets going. Spoiler: If Jesus was a typical Jewish teenager, it would have been appropriate to study under a master of his chosen trade, and this theory posits that it was his uncle, #JosephofArimathea that acted as his #mentor in the building trades. It situates Jesus as a member of the essenes, who are basically #Hebrew students of #Pythagoras, who had lived about 600 years previous, and the idea is that Pythagoras himself was a Greek #Druid.
