On 12 September, 1889, Heinrich Lersch, one of the greatest German poets and freedom fighters of history, was born. -During the course of his life, Lersch wrote numerous great works, especially Christian-German ones, including during the time he volunteered to defend his German people from the forces of Satan during the First World War. He is especially known for having written down the legendary words: „Deutschland muß leben, und wenn wir sterben müssen!“ (Germany must live, even if we must die!). -Among other things, Lersch was called to work at the Prussian Academy of Arts after the victory of the NSDAP. ,,,. He was one of the German poets, writers, etc. who signed the 'Gelöbnis treuster Gefolgschaft' (Vow of most loyal allegiance) to Hitler. ,,,l. Until death, Lersch remained faithful to himself, his people, his Führer and to Christ.
