Over the course of the war the Ukraine has recruited or conscripted about seven hundred thousand to one million men. And yet they are now outnumbered five to one by seven hundred thousand Russian troops. And the remaining Ukrainian troops are mostly men fresh to the front and lacking combat experience. So what happened to all the troops conscripted earlier?
