Diamontoni said the 6-week-old girl was born with Amish lethal microcephaly, a condition that typically causes infants to die within six months of birth. The coroner said the infant, who died on Aug. 18, died from measles. However, a newborn who died earlier this month during childbirth, and who tested positive for measles, died of a ruptured spleen — not measles — the coroner said. The baby was immunocompromised, and to blame the death on measles is ridiculous. The vaccine narrative is falling apart.
