Convicted rapists want to punish Kristian!!! On March 6, 2025, http://Utenfilter.no, a Norwegian conservative media outlet whose name translates to “Without Filter”—published an article titled “The Nordfjord Locals Have Reported Without Filter” (“Nordfjordingene har anmeldt Uten Filter”), exposing a wild twist in a horrific group rape case. The three convicted rapists—Mohamed Ahmed Said, Saeed Tajik, and Abdulkarim Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan—previously labeled “Nordfjordingene” (the Nordfjord locals) by the Norwegian public tax-funded broadcaster NRK because they resided in Nordfjord, a traditional district in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, have now filed police reports against my editor Øyvind Eikrem, the editor of Uten Filter, and me, Kristian Kahrs, the editorial secretary (redaksjonssekretær). This stems from our work unmasking their identities and crimes—a brutal assault on a heavily intoxicated 17-year-old Norwegian girl in Stryn—while mainstream outlets flinched. The rapists’ convictions were detailed in our February 11, 2025, article “Sentences for the Nordfjord Rapists” (“Dommer for Nordfjord-voldtektsmennene”). Mohamed Ahmed Said, of Somali origin, got five years and eight months. Saeed Tajik, from Afghanistan, was handed six years and ten months. Abdulkarim Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan, also Somali and born in 2001, received six years and six months. Found guilty under Norway’s Penal Code (§§ 291, 292, 293) for raping a girl too drunk to resist, they knowingly exploited her state, luring her into a car and committing their premeditated attack in a field surrounded by hay bales outside in the cold January 27, 2024. The court’s unanimous ruling confirmed their guilt, and each was ordered to pay the victim 300,000 NOK in compensation within two weeks. On January 21, 2025, in “The Nordfjord Rapists Identified” (“Nordfjord-voldtektsmennene identifisert”), we revealed them as non-Norwegian migrants from Muslim-majority countries—details the Norwegian public tax-funded broadcaster NRK buried under the vague “Nordfjordingene” tag, a term that enraged readers for dodging their migrant status. In February 2025, Øyvind and I learned we were targets of police reports filed by these three. Øyvind later visited Trondheim Police Station earlier in March and secured the case documents, confirming that Said, Tajik, and Hassan each accused us of breaching Norway’s Penal Code: § 266 (reckless behavior) and § 185 (hate speech). Their beef? Our January 21 piece named them and noted their Somali and Afghan origins, with Hassan whining about “skin color, national/ethnic origin” as hate speech triggers. Uten Filter—and I—call this absurd; convicted rapists playing victims while serving time is a new low. The police didn’t buy it. Prosecutor Silje Nyland dismissed (henlaid) the case, citing Norway’s constitutional free speech protection (§ 100). She deemed our reporting “objective and public information” on a high-profile case of “great public interest,” leaning on a prior ruling that shields even “unnecessary” statements. Still, Uten Filter questions why Nyland didn’t slap a “no criminal offense” label on it, given her own reasoning. This stunt by Said, Tajik, and Hassan smells like desperation—or, as Uten Filter puts it, “frekkhetens nådegave” (the gift of audacity)—likely spurred by taxpayer-funded lawyers chasing fat fees for rotten advice. We were the only outlet to name them outright—Mohamed Ahmed Said, Saeed Tajik, Abdulkarim Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan—while the Norwegian public tax-funded broadcaster NRK hid behind “Nordfjordingene” and even Document lagged, naming them post-verdict. Our scoop got traction—Ola Svenneby, leader of Unge Høyre (Young Conservatives), admitted on Wolfgang Wee’s podcast to secretly reading Uten Filter, slipping up with “Nordfjordingene.” For me, being targeted by these criminals is surreal but won’t shut me up. Øyvind Eikrem and Uten Filter pledge to keep fighting—any legal scrap is a chance to test Norway’s spine. We’re not here to pamper rapists or kowtow to a “conformist, cowardly press corps.” Our vow?
