Instagram Model Pulls A Gun On DJ Akademiks During A Twitch Stream Hip Hop entertainer DJ Akademiks apparently angered Instagram model Whitney LeDawn during heated exchange on the live broadcast of the Fresh & Fit podcast on December 8. Akademiks reportedly called out LeDawn for having a child out of wedlock. She fired back, citing the entertainer's weight. She also called out the Fresh & Fit hosts for disrespecting their female guests. As she was leaving, the model seemed to reach into her bag to pull out a gun frightening many on the show. One of the hosts, Myron Gaines can be heard instructing everyone to “move to the left” as a safety measure in the event shots were fired. “It could have went another way,” Akademiks said on Instagram after the incident. “She grabbed some shit but my man was ready.” He praised Gaines, who said he felt that if “she was mad she might send shots through the door.” “I’m such an instigator,” Akademiks added, apparently indicating that he taunted the woman. “I definitely told her to draw.
