Twitter Fires Two Top Executives Ahead Of Elon Musk Takeover Of The Social Media Company In a company-wide email to employees Thursday, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal announced the firing of consumer product leader Kayvon Beykpour and head of revenue product Bruce Falck. The announcement comes as SpaceX and Tesla CEO works to complete transaction to buy the social media company. Apparently Beykpour was told of his firing while on 'paternity leave.' “Interrupting my paternity leave to share some final [Twitter]-related news: I’m leaving the company after over 7 years,” He wrote in a lengthy Twitter thread Thursday. “The truth is that this isn’t how and when I imagined leaving Twitter, and this wasn’t my decision. Parag asked me to leave after letting me know that he wants to take the team in a different direction.” Falck, the revenue product lead at Twitter, also said Agrawal fired him in a now-deleted tweet. The company’s new head of product is Jay Sullivan, an ex-Facebook director who joined in November. He's also interim head of revenue product as the company is now beginning its search for a replacement for Falck.
