A good time to bring up the fact that both Aubrey Cottle and Andrew "weev" Auernheimer both have ties to the hacking group Cult of the Dead cow and offshoot DSSK. DDoSecrets has paid homage to the group in previous hacks. Cult of the Dead Cow was formed in the 80s and has played a big role in shaping internet culture since its inception. He is a well-known hacker and has had a long career in government and private industry.
