The dumbness of the pronoun brigade is just dumb. They (pardon that) never have a replacement for 'you.' Which is the only damn pronoun I'm going to use to address someone when speaking directly to them, anyhow. The only case when they'd feel the need to correct me is when I am talking to *someone else* *about* them. And if you insist that I comply with your degeneracy, then I won't be talking about you with anyone but friendly (to me) parties, anyhow. So they can bugger off.
