This article was the topic of today’s LinkedIn news. What are your thoughts on it? Here’s mine: I’m sorry if you’ve been hurt by others, especially if they should have been safe people, like a parent or a friend. It’s easy to fall into a victimization mindset. Life is hard. Life is not fair. Practically speaking, what are you going to do about it? It’s your life, your situation. Blaming others focuses our energy on how we have been wronged, and we continue to be hurt by our past. Forgiving others empowers us to move on, to not let our past hurts or privations define who we will strive to become. Whether it’s our parents, our friends or an absence of either, it’s your life to spend. What are you going to do with it? #millenialburnout #leadership #lifeworthliving #extremeownership https://www.theatlantic.com/family/archive/2020/09/anne-helen-petersen-burnout-millennial-parenting/616406/
