I was one of the earliest joiners of Gab when it first began. Most of the folks back then had, like myself, been kicked off Twitter. Nearly everyone from that time has left Gab. Recently, someone I really enjoyed talking with quit altogether. He was one of the last people on here who gave me any enjoyment. I thought I would stick around to defend my beliefs and opinions, but it isn't really worth the trouble. Gab has been overtaken by so much hatred and negativity, it has become overwhelming at times. I lost my husband a couple of years ago, he was my soul mate and the love of my life, and I his. I grieve everyday. He had the worst form of dementia you can get. I looked after him for a few years, didn't get much sleep or rest. I did everything I could to keep him healthy and home for as long as possible. He was in the hospital for three weeks. He was a beautiful man, 6'2" handsome, charming, kind, generous, talented, funny, wonderful to be with. I don't need to be exposed to people who are so negative and mean and nasty to their fellow human beings; no one does. So sprout your antisemitic garbage, your insane criticisms and theories and lies about President Trump, Israel, Charlie Kirk, and anyone else you can think of. Gab is not what it was when it began, and that is a real shame. For those good folks who are still sticking around, God Bless and all the best to you.
