The scriptures always use the term "right hand of God" in reference to God doing something by the power of his Spirit, it is not in reference to the hand of another physical person. Unfortunately, we all through the influences of religion have been encouraged to see God through fleshly means, so when we picture "right hand of God" and think of Father and Son we are thinking along fleshly means of a Father and Son in the flesh. But the Father and Son relationship is that of being the same single Spirit, not separate persons/individuals. Many have this impression like the old Disney movie "Roald Dahl's BFG" that Jesus is some little person standing in the hand of another giant person called the Father. This is why God being a Spirit and us looking at him as a Spirit, is such an important foundational truth of the scriptures."
