In its mission to destroy Christianity, the regime does its best to ensure that no true-believing Christian gets into any position of wealth, importance, or elite status.
However, there are certain Christians who obtain greatness in spirt of opposition from the powers that be. One of these great men of extraordinary ability is the greatest tennis player of all time, Novak Djokovic from Serbia.
The records speak for themselves:
24 Grand Slams
428 Weeks at No. 1
8 Years at Year-End No. 1
7 ATP Finals Titles
Triple Career Grand Slam
Career Golden Slam
Double Career Golden Masters
And so on and so forth...
What makes him so significant, however, is not only that he obtained all the records, but also that he obtained them in opposition to the media and tennis establishment doing everything in their power to stop him.
They rigged the draws against him, they stirred up hatred for him by portraying him as a villain, and they used politics to stop him from winning titles. They deported him from Australia, banned him from several Grand Slam and Masters 1000 titles, robbed him of ranking points and weeks at No. 1, and stole a year end No. 1 from him as well.
About the time when I stopped playing country club tennis, everyone in high society publicly loved Federer and hated Djokovic. And yet, despite every effort to stop him, he still managed to break all records and come out on top, winning the Olympics at the age of 37 with an injured knee. Upon winning the elusive Olympic Gold, after winning the final against one of the next-generation greats Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic made the Sign of the Cross at an event which began with a flagrant display of blasphemy against God by a host of demon worshipers.
In a sense, Novak Djokovic has become larger than his sport—he is a role model for Orthodox Christians who take up the cross and fight against an evil regime.
