Today, on Christmas Day, I will be making a beautiful Beef Wellington for my extended family, regardless of when I personally celebrate Christmas in Church or when the Nativity Fast is over in the Orthodox Calendar. While my OPSEC policy forbids me from taking a picture of the Wellington I made, I can assure all those who are reading that I am using only the finest ingredients—the finest filet of beef, Sfursat wine, butter, crimini/porcini/shiitake mushrooms, thyme, oil, chestnuts, puff pastry, among other ingredients—and that it looks similar to the Wellington pictured below. A reminder that the purpose of following the Orthodox Julian Calendar is to signify obedience to a regime. Contrary to what the Modernists (i.e. unbelievers) say, Orthodoxy is a regal faith, and the primary goal of the faith is the establishment of an Orthodox theocratic monarchy and the union of church and state, the incorporation of all peoples into an Orthodox Imperium. Since the Tsar was betrayed and overthrown, the calendar is only a symbolic reminder of what was lost until Tsarist Russia is restored. Thus, it is pathetic arrogance—and the opposite of Orthodox humility—to assert the calendar if one is in a non-Orthodox regime and has friends and family who do not adhere to not just "Orthodoxy," but correct, true Orthodoxy without any Modernist corruption. And, if one’s entire family and friends circle is independent from Western influence, it is not necessary to brag about it—the calendar is symbolic of the Orthodox Imperium, and using it to feel morally or spiritually superior to those not from a historically-Orthodox nation is antithetical to the humility one expects from being a member of the Orthodox Church. So today, I will enjoy a delicious Beef Wellington with extended family, and I hope you enjoy at least something similar. If your entire family and friends circle is independent from any non-Orthodox influence, you may continue your fast, but for the rest of us, we will continue our feast. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
