Diagram 1: Let’s examine our current political spectrum. We all see it as a 1 dimensional linear diagram showing left and right. One moving left and the other moving right. “Historically the terms "left" and "right" appeared during the French Revolution of 1789 when members of the National Assembly divided into supporters of the king to the president's right and supporters of the revolution to his left.” (Wikipedia) Diagram 2: Lets add a second dimension and look at it as a circular diagram and add a “Peace/War” vertical axis. The further left or right a party moves the further down it moves into the conflict zone. Diagram 3: Lets now say a political party moves off the linear scale into far left or far right zone. Forgive me for moving far left as that is how I see the progressives drawing us into the zone. Diagram 4: Shown as a 2 dimensional image, it now shows the left actually crossing into the right. This could explain the confusion we see today when historians disagree with Hitler being far left or extreme right. His party was, of course the National Socialist German Workers Party. Wikipedia describes this as far-right. Or is it Further-Left? The clue is in the words “Socialist” and “Workers”. Or compare Antifa and the KKK.
