<p>I'm sorry for such a long absence but I'm sorry to say this is goodbye. </p> <p>This site showed a lot of promise in the beginning despite having issues with being wholly consumed with politics. I made this account to combat that and give new users a reason to stay. While I will admit in the scheme of things my contributions may be nothing to sneeze at, at the time I liked to think I made some impact.  </p> <p>In the past few months, a lot of changes have been made which I don't agree with and I feel that the site's original vision has been lost. While there are other things I took issue with that led to this decision, I'll keep it brief in saying this:  despite his promises to never institute a block button, Mr. Torba did so anyway and has proceeded to mute many of his critics - even those who were constructive. Additionally, the idea of placing the site behind a pay wall and requiring users to give phone numbers upon sign up is also a concern and leads to the conclusion this site's vision is no longer the same. </p> <p>In the end, I enjoyed my time with you guys. Thanks for following and all the interactions.</p>
