🌿 Trail Reflection — Sunday Morning This Sunday morning the trail woke up before I did. The wildlife was already clocked in, moving through their morning routines like God’s choreography. Everything was busy, but nothing was loud life doing what life does when nobody’s watching. I stepped onto the path knowing I was the intruder, the one out of place in their natural home. Yet the quiet didn’t reject me. It wrapped around me. A deer spotted me first. No fear, no rush just curiosity, like it was asking, “What brings you out this early?” And across the lake, a lone human on a pontoon drifted by. I waved. They waved back. Two strangers sharing a moment in the hush of the morning. Even with all that movement wings, water, hooves, breath the trail stayed peaceful. Busy, but quiet. Alive, but gentle. And I walked away reminded that God’s calm doesn’t require stillness; just awareness.
