Trail Reflection Mushrooms, Mysteries & Late‑Summer Magic I’ve tuned in to the mushrooms lately, or fungi, if you will. This time of year, they show up in every shape and size, like little surprise guests scattered along the trail. The last few weeks of summer always bring out the strange food nature sets out for the animals and insects. It’s fascinating to watch how the seasons shift, almost like the trail is whispering, “Pay attention… something new is happening.” Every walk reminds me that the trail still has surprises tucked in the corners small wonders, quiet changes, and tiny bits of 'amazing' that make me pause and smile.
