My power went out, so I set up my end fed halfwave from the bedroom down the hall and into the kitchen. Could clearly hear India, Australia and South Africa, I'm still only 5watts on battery so I couldn't really Tx that far. As soon as the power came back, the noise floor shot up on all bands and the waterfall just went white with noise _everywhere_; we're drowning in EM and we just aren't aware of how much till the power goes out.
