Booting up a memory from the polygon past… 🎮 Back in my college days, I was out here wrestling with Maya 3D like it was a final boss. Navigation? A whole side quest. Then, a couple of years later, my student license expired and BAM… got shoved into Blender like, “good luck, kid.” At first? Wasn’t my jam. Now? Blender’s my ride-or-die. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️ Fast forward… Adobe scoops up Substance Painter, and suddenly it’s “$50 a month or kick rocks.” Radical. Just what we all wanted. 🙃 And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I started getting this message across my screen: “Your computer isn’t updated enough to use our Adobe software.” Like… excuse me? This thing still turns on, doesn’t it? Why can’t Adobe provide previous versions? But they don’t. So now... I gotta find another way to actually finish my 3D model. Oh, the delays are never-ending. 🤯 So, I find Armor Paint… $20 one-time. I’m like, “say less.” But plot twist: it’s Blender all over again. New controls, node jungle, brain doing backflips. So it’s time to familiarize myself with an entirely different navigation system. Thanks, Adobe. You didn’t have to. But now... you’ve lost all my respect! Whelp… neon warriors just have to learn to adapt, or get left behind. Hello, Armor Paint. Goodbye Substance Painter... for now. #SynthwaveCreator #3DArtistLife #RetroTechRant #GenXEnergy
