Olga Korbut is a White gymnast who competed in the 70’s. She is famous for creating her own style and moves for competitions. This routine, also known as ‘the dead loop’, was banned shortly after because it was such a dangerous routine to perform. Many people regard Simone Biles, a black gymnast, as the greatest ever, but I have never seen a single black athlete do anything this impressive.
