So I have been thinking, casting grain silver seems to be more effective as a silver hedge than coins. The thought being in a variety of situations you can fairly easily store it, cast stuff if you want, and is divisible to less than single ounces. If you only want to sell half or are using it as a form of exchange after a market failure this saves you from the problem of making change. If the price sky rockets, are we going to want to sell all of the ounce or just part of an ounce? What am I missing? Not financial advice.
