Polishing the Turd Day... Painting parking lot stripes around the two public sides of the hangar before the fall weather turns to crap. The only striped parking lot in Yakutat! Woo, hoo! They say you can't polish a turd, but that's about all I can do to this enormous old derelict WWII hangar. I need to sell a LOT more fuel if I'm ever going to live to see this project finished. Remember, if anyone offers you a free building, run away! NOTHING is free. ESPECIALLY if they tell you it's free! Pressure-washed the cement, then hand-rolled the paint. My back hurts. Only a couple "minor" spills. Nobody will notice... Except me. Rhubarb is almost ready for the third harvest! That little hole in the concrete heats up nicely for growing there. Yakutat, Alaska
