My son (the big one) grabbed a local kid yesterday and went on an adventure... Here they are posing on an iceberg on their way to where they camped for the night... Crossing Harlequin Lake to get to the Yakutat Glacier. This is the kid that my son has been hiring to help with his wood cutting. Ambitious - hard working! This trip was a reward for all his help. He took a ton of awesome photos, but his new phone won't connect to my old laptop, so it'll take a bit to get more photos to post. Then this morning, our weather turned back to normal and they froze their butts off crossing the lake back to the bridge... Foggy - dreary - miserable. Normal for September. The mail plane is going to be 10 hours late today... I'm going to go take a nap. Yakutat, Alaska
