I don't know who needs to read this any more than it may just be I need to express it. But, in the world we are living in, morality has been attacked relentlessly. The idea of faithfulness in the so called "mainstream" of our culture is looked upon as some mythic sentiment from an age long forgotten. Don't misunderstand me, this isn't a statement of how I personally have held on to and demonstrated great morality, in my own life. The fact is though I am saved and I am a believer in Jesus/Yeshua the risen living Son and Word of God, as my saviour, I committed unfaithfulness against my beloved wife, and the Lord. I can tell you it is to my utter shame and deepest pain of which I have reaped even to this day the consequences of my sin. Yet, my Lord still loves me and meets my needs, and gives me the grace to repent and receive forgiveness, Praise God Almighty!! While this may read like a confessional, that's not my intent either, but rather I wanted to share some insight gained as a 'sinner', that may not have ever reached this level of perception had it not been from the angle of the man overboard in the sea of iniquity. Who appreciates forgiveness more, those who read about it, see it done, the one who forgives, or the wretched soul who is so sick and tormented by their guilt, that is fully forgiven ?? The greatest insight I want to share here is this, everything that God's Word says about how we should live, is for our BEST OUTCOMES, not to keep us from fun and excitement or the free reign of our unchecked passions, no it is simply because of how we were made. Our designer is the greatest Artist for all of eternity, He went to such great lengths to give us optimal function and ability. That we could experience on so many different levels that the latest and greatest quantum computers can't compete with. And He made us capable of Love, giving and receiving and seeking and longing for it at the core of our being. He created man and woman to 'become one' through the act of marriage, and through that oneness we each owe our very own conceptions. Built in to our DNA is 'code' that reaches far beyond the physical, where the act of 'becoming one' is where our mate's and our spirits are joined. When we disregard God's Word about sex and procreation, in the confines of marriage, we've reduced one of God's sweetest and life sustaining gifts into the status of bodily function. Yet with each new 'partner', the spirit joining part of our design keeps stamping the different spirit connections on top of each other. Which over time and frequency of different 'connections' made, the wonderful gift of being joined spiritually, emotionally, and physically is lost. It breaks my heart that I learned that truth as many many others do. That we were to have one person which we would build a lifetime of spiritual and emotional and physical oneness with. Each time we go outside of the bounds our designer placed for us, the result is loss on our parts, in joy, quality of life, peace, health, spirituality, everything across the board goes down in comparison to what our Holy Father meant to be for our best, blessed is the man who learns this and repents, but how much more blessed is the man who follows the Lord's instruction and keeps it always....... I pray for the healing and restoration of the marriages that have been attacked in this present age of darkness, dawn is coming, Praise the Lord dawn is coming.
