A bank robber’s criminal career came to a sudden and permanent halt when he pulled a knife while trying to rob a Texas bank on Aug. 31. Witnesses told police that the would-be robber pulled a knife and demanded money from the bank’s employees and the customer opened fire on him. The would-be robber fled the scene after being hit by the concealed carry holder. The suspect later succumbed to the wound at a local hospital. Hard to believe a perp tries to rob a Texas bank when so many citizens are armed. Unlike blue states, red states believe in self-defense and punishing criminals.
