when people say "no quarter" or "no Rules of Engagement" this is what happens.

unless we maintain the moral high ground, we become the monsters we fight.

people say "this can't happen" "patriots will never do this". if we don't guard against it...if we don't have solid Rules of Engagement..simple rules like "don't shoot innocent people" "don't attack schools, hospitals, and rest homes" they WILL happen.

" we're right/god is on our side, we can do whatever we want in the name of victory " is the excuse behind EVERY warcrime. and if you think we're not capable of it you don't understand human nature. we're all capable of it. if we let our guard down. if we let ourselves become the monsters.

don't become monsters.

we do not need to lie about our enemies. we merely need to tell the truth about them.

our enemies need to lie about us, because the truth would show everyone who they really are.
