Takeaway from today's developments in the lab leak hypothesis of SARS-COV-2 origins: 1. We had known for a couple of months that there was a smoking gun in the genome of SARS-COV-2: the furin-cleavage site, which EcoHealth Alliance was actively pursuing as a project of genetic modification. The presence of this unnatural sequence in SARS-COV-2 shows that it was being worked on in a lab with genetic modification capabilities. The documents showing that EcoHealth Alliance precisely planned to perform these modifications shows that they are the most likely guilty entity for performing it. 2. The Project Veritas release now shows that some military guy inside DARPA had understood this as much we, public independent media, did. He had written a report warning DARPA about these findings. 3. The Republicans of the Oversight Committee have now released emails showing that there was advanced counseling of Anthony Fauci where he got told precisely that the furin-cleavage site aspect of the virus was hard to explain through any natural pathway and it was therefore highly likely that the virus emerged from laboratory farming in human cell lines after genetic insertion of the sequence.
