How Clips works

Record or upload a short vertical video through the Gab composer, add a caption, and it appears in the Clips feed, on your profile, and in your followers' timelines. Clips are public by default, which makes them viewable — and indexable — without a login.

Why creators post here

Short video is the format most exposed to opaque enforcement decisions elsewhere: reach throttling, unexplained restrictions, and sudden removals. Gab applies one published set of rules from its Terms of Service, so creators can plan a content calendar without guessing which topic will be suppressed this month.

Gab Clips compared to TikTok

The format is the same. The differences are Gab's speech policy, which permits legal political and religious speech, and that Gab is a US company running its own infrastructure rather than a subsidiary of a foreign parent. Gab Clips has a much smaller audience, so it is best used alongside — not instead of — wherever your existing followers are.

What performs on Clips
