Gab Clips
Last updated June 17, 2026
Gab Clips is Gab's short-form video feature — vertical, scrollable video content similar in format to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. It gives creators a place to publish short video without the content moderation policies that have led to mass demonetization and removal on those platforms.
What it means
Short-form video has become the dominant content format of the 2020s, but the major platforms that host it have implemented some of the most aggressive censorship in the history of media. TikTok suppresses content from accounts with certain views; YouTube Shorts can demonetize or remove content based on opaque algorithmic decisions. Gab Clips exists as a place where creators don't have to self-censor to stay alive on the platform.
How it works on Gab
Creating a Clip is done through the Gab post composer — upload a short vertical video, add a caption, and it appears in the Clips feed alongside the main timeline. Clips are visible on creator profiles, in the dedicated Clips section, and in the main feed for followers. As with all Gab content, Clips are publicly accessible even to non-logged-in users, which means they're indexable by search engines.
Clips are distinct from longer-form content in Gab Video and live broadcasts via Gab Live.
