Gab Social

Gab Social is the name for the core social networking product at Gab.com — the part of the platform where users post, follow accounts, join groups, share video, and have conversations. It sits at the center of the Gab ecosystem, alongside standalone products like Gab AI and Gab Marketplace.

What it means

Think of it the way you'd think of "Facebook" within Meta, or "Twitter" within X Corp. Gab Social is the actual social product: the timeline, the post composer, the notification system, the public profiles. When someone says "I'm on Gab," they're almost certainly talking about Gab Social.

It supports text posts up to 3,000 characters, images, video, polls, quote posts, and reposts. Reactions, comments, and direct messages are all part of the same interface.

How it works on Gab

Gab Social is free to join and use. Anyone can browse public content — posts, profiles, groups, Gab News — without an account. Signing up adds the ability to post, follow, react, and message. GabPRO members get additional tools on top of the free experience, but the full social feature set is available at no cost.

The platform is accessible via the web at gab.com and as an installable progressive web app on iPhone and Android.
