How do I report content on Gab?

Last updated June 17, 2026

To report content on Gab, click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the post you want to report and select "Report." You'll be prompted to select a reason. Gab's team reviews reported content for actual Terms of Service violations.

What happens after you report

Reports are reviewed by Gab's moderation team. Content that violates the TOS is removed; accounts that repeatedly violate the TOS are suspended. Reports of legal content you personally disagree with won't result in removal — disagreement is not a TOS violation. Gab doesn't remove content just because it's reported; reports trigger review, not automatic removal.

What to report

Report content in prohibited categories: CSAM, credible threats of violence, doxxing with harmful intent, spam, or coordinated bot activity. Don't report content simply because it expresses a political view you disagree with — it won't result in action.

Blocking vs reporting

For content that bothers you but doesn't violate the TOS — aggressive arguing, distasteful posts, users you don't want to interact with — use the block or mute tools instead. How to block or mute someone on Gab.
