How do I create a group on Gab?

Creating a Gab Group is free and takes about five minutes. Any registered Gab user can do it from the Groups section of the platform.
Step by step
- Log in and navigate to the Groups section from the main menu.
- Click Create Group.
- Choose a group name, write a description, and upload a cover image (optional but recommended).
- Select Public (anyone can browse and join) or Private (membership requires approval).
- Set your group's topic/category if prompted.
- Click Create.
After creating your group
Post a welcome message pinned to the top of the group. Share the group link in your main timeline posts to attract members. Invite specific users by searching their usernames. Set up group moderation rules so members know what's expected. Appoint trusted members as co-moderators if you want help managing a larger community.
