How do I sign up for Gab?

Signing up for Gab takes about two minutes. You need an email address, a username, and a password. No phone number required, no government ID, no credit card.
Step by step
- Go to gab.com and click Sign Up (or go directly to gab.com/auth/sign_up).
- Choose a username — this becomes your public handle (e.g. @yourname).
- Enter your email address and set a password.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the verification link.
- That's it. You're in.
What you don't need
Gab doesn't require a phone number for signup or verification. You don't need to use your real name — pseudonymous accounts are fully supported. You won't be asked to upload an ID or connect another social account. If you want additional privacy, signing up via a VPN and a separate email address is straightforward since Gab doesn't block either.
After you sign up
Take a few minutes to fill out your profile — a photo, a short bio, and a header image. Then use the Explore section to find people, groups, and feeds that match your interests.
